OpmerkingenWe have a lot of meteor shower and stargazing experience under our belt (saw it with my wife). We have seen many things but this was unexpectedly the most amazing thing we've ever seen (because it was in the city) and we've seen the moon bounce like a basketball in and out of sight while traveling the Amazon at night. We were so awestruck by this random experience, we still haven't figured out how to tell people about it. It was flying as low as a low-flying plane, we could hear the sizzle, you could almost reach out and touch it. It was long enough to sit there with our mouths open, briefly worry about where it's going and then, just like that, it fizzled like a Roman candle firework (without the pop at the end). We hope to find out if anyone else saw it.
